I was born and raised in Southern California. After exploring many career options from missionary to T.V. Extra, I decided to follow my love of art and design. My fondness for drawing quirky, whimsical characters led me to acquire an illustration BFA at Minneapolis College of Art and Design. There I also discovered the world of surface design and developed a love for patterns and color.

I now divide my time between illustration and design. My work has been published in two children’s books, as well as a variety of magazines. I have also created surface designs and products for Target Corporation, American Greetings, Wal-Mart Stores and RBC Dain Rauscher. I now reside by the lake in lovely Cleveland, Ohio with my two cats.
